Remember: Actors And 'Pirates' Can Be The Same People

points of a story about how a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) is a member to plead guilty to a charge of violation of copyright criminal charges assessed copies of certain films that have been access only because he was a member of SAG. I still think it's a bit silly that a criminal complaint rather than a civil trial, but it's a problem with the law itself. What I find most important point in this story is the simple fact that it is a SAG actor for filtration. This is much more common than people realize. The MPAA continues to insist that there are "evil hackers" who try to hurt the actors and others in the industry. But what we know is that studies have shown again and again that a large percentage of these leaks come from the actors or others in the industry

. Insider leaks are a key source of such content. This does not mean it is right or moral, or something like that. I'm just pointing out all the "us against them" mentality promoted by the MPAA is inaccurate and misleading. Very often, the "they" want to blame the MPAA are the same people who say they are trying to help
